Naveen Ramakrishnan MCSP HCPC — chartered musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapist. No referral needed.
Knowsley is close to Liverpool but public transport across the borough can be indirect, and a physiotherapy appointment that needs two buses each way is one you are likely to cancel when your back is at its worst. Home visits remove that problem.
I visit Huyton, Kirkby, Prescot, Whiston, Halewood and Stockbridge Village. Sessions run for an hour in your own home, which also lets me see the things that matter and are invisible in a clinic — the stairs you are struggling with, the chair you sit in all evening, the bed you are trying to get out of in the morning.
Much of my Knowsley work is post-surgical rehabilitation and long-standing joint pain, often in people who have already waited a long time through other routes. There is no referral needed and no waiting list to join.
Most of Knowsley is within about twenty minutes of my base, so short-notice appointments are often possible.

Most of the borough — Huyton, Prescot, Whiston, Roby — is within about twenty minutes of my base, so same-week and sometimes next-day appointments are realistic. Kirkby and Halewood are only a little further.
Yes — post-surgical rehabilitation is a large part of my Knowsley caseload, often for people who found travelling to outpatient appointments the hardest part of recovery. I bring the session to your home and can work with the exercise plan your surgical team gave you.
No. You can book directly with me as a chartered physiotherapist registered with the HCPC. Self-referral means you can usually be seen sooner than waiting for a GP appointment first.
Home visits and online consultations. No referral needed, and often available the same week.
