Knowsley is close to Liverpool but public transport across the borough can be indirect, and a physiotherapy appointment that needs two buses each way is one you are likely to cancel when your back is at its worst. Home visits remove that problem.
I visit Huyton, Kirkby, Prescot, Whiston, Halewood and Stockbridge Village. Sessions run for an hour in your own home, which also lets me see the things that matter and are invisible in a clinic — the stairs you are struggling with, the chair you sit in all evening, the bed you are trying to get out of in the morning.
Much of my Knowsley work is post-surgical rehabilitation and long-standing joint pain, often in people who have already waited a long time through other routes. You can book directly without a GP referral.
Most of Knowsley is within about twenty minutes of my base, so short-notice appointments are often possible.
